Hi @Misiek You can only set up one of the backup types, you won't be able to do one (for example) compressed and the others incremental. Did you have a chance to check out the backup configuration documentation here: Backup Configuration - Version 76 Documentation - cPanel Documentation We have the following feature request i believe might be of interest to you as well: More flexibility and options with Backup Configuration

Hello @Misiek The way that incremental works though is that one initial backup needs to be full and subsequent backups store in increments any changes.
    • Incremental " Select this setting to save all of your files in the directory tree. This setting uses a combination of hard links and files for speed and to save disk space.
Can you explain what the issue with this is? Thanks!

    This is not logical 385G /home/server1/2018-11-29 12K /home/server1/2018-12-01 23G /home/server1/2018-11-24 24G /home/server1/monthly 23G /home/server1/2018-11-27 23G /home/server1/2018-12-02 22G /home/server1/2018-11-30
If one initial backup should be full why the full backup is with date 2018-11-29 and the earlier backup for example from 2018-11-27 are small?

    Hello, My own server has similar behavior: [root@server backup]# du -h --max-depth=1 3.9M ./.meta 724M ./2018-12-05 477M ./2018-12-04 305M ./2018-12-06 305M ./2018-12-08 304M ./2018-12-07 2.1G .
It's based on what's changed/being hardlinked to. This might be helpful for you: Thanks!
