Multiple account package change

My problem is; I've moved 4 different reseller's accounts to a server under one reseller account, and now everything works fine but accounts packages are all wrong old resellers packages. My question is: How can I rename accounts packages to reflect new reseller? example: old accounts use these packages: res1_pack1 res1_pack2 res2_pack1 res3_pack3 res1_pack4 they should be changed to: newreseller_pack1,2,3,4,...

  AFAIK you can't rename packages, you need to create new package names (newreseller_pack1,2,3,4) and then assign the clients to them.

  Its nearly impossible, its around 400 accounts... Is there any script to read package names and then assign new packages name? some perl maybe?
