Cannot reboot through WHM

WHM states I need to reboot with its "You must reboot the server to apply software updates." yellow bubble in the top right, but when I click it I get the following: A fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive.[show] [close] (expanded, the error is as follows) kcarectl --info reporting unknown patch type: free:1543640578 at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/KernelCare.pm line 80. This is the second time kernel care has been problematic due to being too far behind centos in the updates (centos updates kernel, kcare bugs out because it doesn't know about it yet, things break until kcare fixes it). How do I turn off kernelcare and just use CentOS?

  Hello, I'm not sure what was pushed that would have fixed that based on our changelogs 76 Change Log - Change Logs - cPanel Documentation (the last update that was pushed for 76.0.13 didn't contain anything for kernelcare nor have any recents. Unless you just moved to v76 which does contain a fix for an issue with kernelcare:

  • Fixed case CPANEL-20239: Fixed false reboot suggestion when KernelCare is running.
  • Fixed case CPANEL-21707: Fixed false reboot suggestion when KernelCare is running.

  There are also a couple of new cases for "unknown patch type" issues with kernelcare CPANEL-24248 and CPANEL-22957 both of which are in progress currently.
