Move all accounts from two servers to new one?
Hi,
I'm looking for some help and advice please..
I have been a multiple WHM license holder for many years. I am no server admin and find WHM a great tool for me achieving what I need within it's options.
Recently, my host got back to me when I noticed a WHM error when trying to login to say 'because of a glitch our system expired your Cpanel license with Cpanel', Their only remedy was to ask me to purchase 2 new licenses.
I explained that I would like them to sort the issue their end as it was no fault of my own, but they said they couldn't/wouldn't.
With all of the above in mind I have decided to change hosts and consolidate my two servers to one, more powerful server. Once I have the new server setup with WHM is it an easy task to consolidate the two older WHM contents into this new one bearing in mind the licenses are now 'expired'? Is there somebody who can do this for me?
Thanks for any help and advice.

Hi again, One of the servers (and the WHM licensing I had paid for) runs out in a couple of days and I have to have everything off the server for then. Is there anybody who can help? Thank you. 0 -
Do you have backups of all the accounts downloaded for safe keeping? (You should. Get them right now if you don't.) Restoring Full Backups might be one way to go. WebHost Manager "Backup "Restore a Full Backup/cpmove File Restore a Full Backup cpmove File - Version 74 Documentation - cPanel Documentation In a pinch, I would think you could contact cPanel Customer Service and have them enable the IP on a trial license which should give you a few days to get things in order for the move. Assuming the new server is set up properly and secured, moving accounts using the transfer Tool should work fine for the task: WebHost Manager "Transfers "Transfer Tool Transfer Tool - Version 74 Documentation - cPanel Documentation 0 -
Thank you so much for the information. I have contacted support to request two trial licenses. Once setup I will follow your suggestions :) 0
