Personally, I think you are obliged to delete all the cPanel software from your server if you don't want to continue to pay to use their software. You did agree to the license agreement that includes: [quote]2.5.2 Mandatory Product Activation. If You do not complete the Mandatory Product Activation process within 15 days after You first install the Software, cPanel may in its sole discretion terminate this Agreement or suspend or disable access in whole or in part to the Software.
and [quote]5.6 Effect of Termination. Upon the expiration or termination of this Agreement for any reason, (a) You must destroy all copies of the Software, including any back-up copy; (b) You must uninstall or delete the Software from the Licensed Server; and (c) cPanel may without notice and in its sole discretion terminate, suspend or disable access to the Software by You or any Third Party User.
i don't need use cPanel every month

To cherry-pick when you condescend to pay their license fee so that you can make changes that month is both immoral and unethical, and looks like it contravenes the license agreement that you entered into. Moreover, winging about it in the forums just demonstrates that you either didn't read the agreement, or that you you intend to blatantly disregard it. Do you expect your phone to continue to work if you don't pay the phone bill ? Or that your lights still work if you don't pay the electricity bill ? Why should cPanel have to keep supplying you with working software if you don't pay them ? Or maybe you think you're special and the rules don't apply to you ! It must be snowing again !! Sorry if my opinion upsets anyone. As a former supplier of software that got abused at every opportunity, I feel a strange empathy for cPanel (maybe it's due to a lack of, or an excess of, whisky - I don't know) Just my 2c .

Expecting commercial software to continue to work for you without paying for it is nothing more than ........ stealing !! If you don't want to use cPanel, completely uninstall it, and install the various FOSS components that cPanel includes, and configure them all yourself.
