Point main domain to another server
Hi,
I need to point my domain for example "example.com" to another server using A points with CNAME "www.example.com" to another server, but I have G-suite emails in the current server and other local emails and many DNS Zone configuration such as Mailchimp, also I have many subdomains such as "test.example.com" in the current server, Is there anyway to point the above domain and keep other configurations in the current server without breaking it.
Thanks

Hello @Dahdoul If you point www.example.com somewhere else using a CNAME it will not affect example.com +any other subdomains, including your mx record if pointed to gmail. Keep in mind though if you do this example.com itself will display differently than www.example.com. 0 -
Hello @Dahdoul If you point www.example.com.
Thank you for your answer, but what if I want to point example.com and www.example.com to another server and keep current configuration as it is, because some users will try to access example.com without www and some with.0 -
Hi @Dahdoul That would function exactly how I noted in my previous response. domain.tld and www.domain.tld are not actually required to resolve to the same place though it is most common for them to. 0
