Hello Emerson, you want to restrict customers based on CPU and RAM? example customer A has 1024 MB as Memory and 60% as CPU when ever they accessed they should pay. Cloudlinux is the solution for that, i can help you send me message so we can talk.

I do not want to restrict. I want to charge in proportion to the used CPU / RAM usage.

Ultimately CloudLinux is going to be the best option for what you are asking to do but the daily process log is a reliable source of information for the average daily CPU/RAM usage. The downfall you won't be able to limit clients, nor will you be able to automate, you'd need to go through manually and check the user's daily averages.

What's the use of CloudLinux? Do you recommend it on a VPS for the purpose of reselling a shared hosting?

Hi @Mauwiks To find out more about CloudLinux I'd suggest checking out their site here: CloudLinux - Main | New template You can run that kind of server on either platform, just as long as either has enough resources. Some do prefer hardware servers for reselling, but really either is acceptable.
