Not receiving: 550 Please turn on SMTP Authentication
Hi!
I configured the email account and client a phew days ago (of a new domain), and I'm not getting any incoming emails (outgoing are fine).
The error message is:
550 Please turn on SMTP Authentication in your mail client. [removed] is not permitted to relay through this server without authentication.
I checked some threads that addressed this issue some time ago, and tried to solve it (unable DKIM, SPF, etc), but that doesn't seem to work. Also, the SMTP auth is on on the mail client, and all ports and specs are accordingly.
Can you help?
Tks!

In WHM edit teh dns zone and make sure the mail exchanger is set to local. Sounds like its set to remote. 0 -
Actually i cannot login to WHM (because I've a shared IP server account?) 0 -
You may need to get support from your provider then, but you can click on email routing in your cpanel account and see what it says there. it should say local. 0 -

Changed the MX to local but the problem remains. :/0 -
Beyond that you'll need to contact your provider then. 0 -

I agree with @GOT if the domain's MX record is local and you've set it as such without access to the server there isn't much you're able to do without contacting the provider for assistance. Thanks! 0
