SMTP error from remote mail server
Hello everyone,
I just set up my email client (thunderbird) with the provided SSL/TLS settings and receive an error everytime I try to send an email. What can I do?

The error clearly states that there is a DNS issue, either your MX record is not configured correctly. Check the DNS zone of your domain and make sure the MX record is correctly configured and pointing to the right server IP 0 -
Thanks Eminds, I haven't changed anything in the DNS zone and set up everything exactly as described by the host. Gotta admit that I am not a professional when it comes to DNS/MX Records etc. so I'd be really happy if you/someone could give me a hint on how to properly point the MX to the right server. 0 -
Hello @denalovicz Does this occur for any attempt to send mail or only when you're attempting to send mail to this account? Ultimately to ensure that there are no misconfigurations with DNS on your end you should confirm with your provider as they'd understand their configuration where we would not have a way to here. 0
