Virtuozzo containers do not have their own kernel packages, the kernel runs from the host node. 0 -
Thank you for the prompt response. This is our newly purchased dedicated server. How we can update the Kernel? Please let us know. 0 -
If you operate the host node, you have to log in as root on the host node, not a container and run yum update kernel and then reboot it. 0 -
We have only WHM root access. Is it possible to do the same with this access ? 0 -
No, because WHM runs in the container. You have to have access to the host node shell. If this is truly a dedicated server, they should have given you access to the host node where virtuozzo runs. If you don't have that access you will need to contact your provider. 0 -
Thank you so much @GOT for your time and responses ! We will contact with our provider and updated here once they response. Thanks again ! 0 -
Hello @Tarak Nath, Did you install cPanel & WHM directly on the host node that was running Virtuozzo? If so, that's an unsupported configuration. Instead, if you want to use Virtuozzo, you should setup an individual VPS under the host node and install cPanel & WHM directly on the VPS. Thank you. 0 -
Hello @cPanelMichael , We have purchased this server and paying as dedicated server. We have an open cPanel support ticket for the thread and the ticket ID is 11147203 You can review our server as we already granted access to cPanel. Regards, Tarak Nath 0 -
Hello @Tarak Nath, It looks like it's a VPS server based on the server information in the support ticket. You'll want to reach out to your provider to let them know you ordered a dedicated server if that's what you intended. Thank you. 0 -
Hello @cPanelMichael , Thank you for your support. We will contact with our provider. Regards, Tarak Nath 0
