Accounts owned by reseller not showing in their WHM

Sort of a weird issue here. A reseller recently somehow had their accounts reset to root owner. We've already identified their accounts from /var/cpanel/reseller.accts and reset their ownership via WHM reseller area. We've grep'd against /etc/trueuserowners and it shows them correctly. We've updated userdomains, restarted WHM.... the accounts all show correctly from root when you search by the reseller name. They all show in the files noted above. Even checked the individual userdata directories and the files there and they show correctly there as well. However, when you login into the reseller's WHM they do not show. In fact, the reseller doesn't even have the list accounts feature. Also, looking at other threads here, we've already checked the tweak settings system tab and it shows the correct setting there (root, account owner, cpanel user) for viewing accounts. Any insight would be appreciated.
