Creating Subdomain with One Character Error

Hi, When we try to create a subdomain with 1 character the error in cpanel is displayed:

The subdomain is created and displayed in the cpanel, and the DNS entry is added in the DNS zone of the main domain.

I have tested on two servers that have the same configuration and in more than one domain per server.

The error clearly states Error while parsing zonedata for 1example.com.br: expected valid minimum The length of the subdomain name should be more than 1 character

Hello @Luana Premoli I'm not able to replicate this behavior when adding a single character subdomain but looking at the error specifically it's maybe alerting to something else that may be going on: The zone "example.com.br" is empty. Modification of "default._domainkey.l.example.com.br.:TXT" failed
I also noticed you're running a custom template. I'd like to know the following: 1. If you switch from your provider's Paper Lantern theme to the stock Paper Lantern theme if this persists. 2. What's on line 8 of the zone file in this instance? 3. Are any other DKIM entries present in the zone file? If so are any of them for the domain you're attempting to add Thanks!

Hi @cPanelLauren I can not change the theme because the company just left the custom. The DNS zone of the domain is below, however, I remember that it happens on other servers and with other domains too.

Hi @Luana Premoli Are the other servers using custom themes as well? You should be able to change the style applied to the site by going to WHM>>Account Functions>>Modify an Account

Hello @Luana Premoli Yes, they're different. I'm not entirely sure I understand what the issue is, in order to rule out that the custom template is the cause of the issue please try to create the subdomain on the standard paper lantern style and let me know if you continue toexperiencing the issue.
