You must set MySQL to version 5.5 or higher
Hello,
I am doing a fresh install of whm. I created a config file with 5.1 as the default myql version. But during the installing I get the error
You must set MySQL" to version 5.5 or higher in the /var/cpanel/cpanel.config file for cPanel & WHM version 76.
Could I downgrade after a fresh install? Or how do i force the install to go with 5.1. Need mysql 5.1 for older databases. Or how can I install a previous stable version of cpanel that can get me to work with 5.1. Thank you.

You cannot downgrade mysql versions. Cpanel currently supports a minimum of 5.5 versions. Sites running in mysql 5.1 can work in 5.5. 0 -
I read older threads, and have done it previously in fresh installs. But this is a new problem that I never encountered before. I did a downgrade after a fresh install. Wondering if it's possible to do it before install is all. 0
