    There are a lot of important files in that folder, like the user account and email a\password files. I would restore the account from a backup.

    You should contact your Hosting Provider about this. No one on these forums can help with this, your Host might be able to though.

    Hello, You mean "/etc" ( system configuration files)? One of the options is to restore the files from the backup. Unfortunately, you don't have a backup. So it is good to check with the hosting provider or your server management team and migrating the contents to a new server with the same configuration. Now the configuration files are loaded in ram and running, so any restart in service will bring the service down. Also, the server will fail to boot, since configuration files are missing. So keep the server online without going with the reboot and do the migration of the contents to the new server.
