Whitelist Cloudflare IPS
Dear All,
I activated Cloudflare on one of my websites and just how CF suggest I like to whitelist CF IPs.
See CF IP list: IP Ranges | Cloudflare
I found numerous ways to do it, some seems obsolete too me.
Now I am a little lost in the info ocean.
My question is:
How to do a proper CF IP whitelist? (One site only)
IpTables or Mod_security or just .htaccess?
Do I need to also whitelist CPHulk?
What rule do I need? Do I need to (allow CF) or (Deny all, allow CF) ?
Sorry for too generic question but I guess a proper guide would be welcomed to everybody whos later finding this thread.
Thank you all even in advance
Zoli

You can install csf and add ip's to ignore.list. Traffic from these ip addresses is not considered. After installing csf you can disable cphulk. 0 -
The first thing to establish is this: do you have anything which might block their IPs as it stands? Unless you specifically installed a firewall like CSF/LFD or APF/BFD, the answer is probably no, and they wouldn't need whitelisting as such. 0 -

CSF is not running, rest is something I never heard of. I dont have mutch extra on my webserver just mod_sec and CPHulk just how it came from Cpanel. -So no worries about CloudFlare. Thanks0 -
HI @Zoltan Szabo If you do decide to run CSF you can easily add these to the ignore list. If not you might add them to iptables but really, it doesn't sound like there's any reason to do this at this time. Thanks! 0
