HTTP error 500 on website

I had installed open journal system from sotaculous. The website worked perfectly for a week but suddenly started showing http error 500. - Removed - is the website. Could you please let me know how to fix that

  As a starting point, I'd suggest opening the cPanel File Manager and using the search feature (top right hand corner) to search for "error_log". With a bit of luck, errors may be getting recorded to the file system.

  The problem seems to be from the site script, there are missing file or files.

  Hello, That's the PHP error log, which generally is also pretty useful but what is noted at cPanel>>Metrics>>Errors
