Which PHP Handler Should I Use?

I currently have the default cgi with mpm itk installed which I have read is a bad option I was thinking about suPHP so that I can have more control over security....but I would like to know how much slower this is than mod_ruid2 + DSO and FCGI etc? Could someone rank the different php handler options by speed?
