Timeouts and slow SFTP uploads, FTP can't list directories

New server with - Removed - (whee!). cPanel 78.0.3. - Connecting via FTP, can't list directories/files - get disconnects - Connecting via SFTP jailed or nonjailed is slow - Uploading files via SFTP - uploads 1-4 MB at 50Kbits/sec or less, stalls out. - Uploading files via cPanel File Manager the same - typically uploads at 15-20Kbits/sec for 2-4MB, stalls out I've changed FTP servers; tried jailed/nonjailed shell for SFTP" What the heck do I troubleshoot for this? :( Have confirmed multiple people experience this, one using.... something on his Mac. Another person Filezilla on Windows, which is what I'm using. But File Manager having the same issue leads me to believe it's something on the server. I disabled CSF temporarily, cpHulk temporarily. Not sure what else to try disabling temporarily. Any help/pointers appreciated. Links to relevant things to try welcome, too - my google-fu hasn't found a solution so far. :(

  Same problem, except directory listing. Extremely slow transfer ! cPanel v76.0.18 Tried change Pure-FTPD with ProFTPD not help. Disabling cpHulk and ModSecure also doesn't help.   I found that Baidu bot (220.181.108.*) overloading the server connections. Now looks good,

  Nah... Again is slow :( Dont have any idea what is wrong but I'm sure it's max connections related.

  Hello, Do you notice any specific output to /var/log/messages when this happens? Have you reached out to your provider to rule out any network issues at the data center? Thank you.
