Comodo Service SSL not renewed

The free Comodo Service SSL Certificate on my VPS is about to expire in 12 days. I thought it would renew automatically (if it will expire in less then 25 days). But it seems no to be renewed. How can I trouble shoot this? I have read the documentation and checked the /var/cpanel/ssl/directory for any touch files that would disable renewing. There are non.
