'+spam' added to incoming mail address
I'm trying to identify what is altering my incoming email address by actually adding '+spam'
to my email address, like: Delivered-To: ed+spam@domain.com.
These emails are going to the spam folder instead of inbox.
I am using Spam Assassin and Spam Hammer. I also have a few word filters setup in Email Filters.
Any advice appreciated.

It looks like the letters 'men', (in statement, etc.) are causing this. 'Statemeent', stateme, state all are accepted as non spam. I had a filter 'men' that apparently caused this (without quotes). So the letters m e n were detected in 'statement'. How can words be statused as not being a part of another word? With quotes? 0 -
Hello @Edward_, Can you share the exact filter rule that was setup under the account? Also, can you confirm if you are using the "Spam Box" option in cPanel >> Spam Filters? Thank you. 0
