SSL Certificate Mismatch Error
I a currently have an issue where an Android app I develop is having trouble connecting to my WHM/cPanel server due to SSL mismatch..
The server appears to be returning the incorrect SSL cert, so the app complains that there is a name mismatch.
The incorrect SSL in question is the one for the hostname of the machine. Is there a way to remove it?

it appears that the app (which has been working, untouched, for many months) is not getting a response for the correct server name its connecting to. I suspect this is something to do with SNI, but doubt it can be the app end, as nothing has changed there for months. 0 -
Hello @bayinfo, We document how the free SSL certificate for the server's hostname works on the link below: The checkallsslcerts Script - Version 78 Documentation - cPanel Documentation You can also switch to "mail.domain.tld" as the mail server name in your application settings if an SSL certificate is installed on the domain name in-question (signed SSL certificates are free if you use the AutoSSL feature). Let me know if this information helps. Thank you. 0
