Skeleton directories and packages
Hi all,
I am currently using skeleton directories for new accounts on my server although there is 1 package i am wanting to create although i would like this to use a separate skeleton directory if possible.
Thanks in advance

Hi @Mark Coates The only way I am aware of that this can be done would be to create a reseller to own that account as resellers get their own skeleton directory: Skeleton Directory - Version 78 Documentation - cPanel Documentation The user would need to be owned by the reseller in this instance though. 0 -
Hi Lauren, The accounts this has been tested on are all owned by a (the same) reseller. I have already got a website using the skeleton feature and dont really want to change this if possible unless there is a way to have 2 skeleton directories depending on account type. I have found a way i think using Softaculous which is a cPanel plugin and i think this will work as i am yet to test this. 0 -
Hello @Mark Coates Softaculous could be a solution, it's a 3rd party plugin developed for cPanel - you can read about it here Softaculous 0 -
Thanks Lauren 0
