cPanel as Mailserver?

We run webspace and mailboxes for customers, currently Plesk is in use. It"s quite inflexible and we didn"t see any evolution in the product, so the eye went on cPanel.
We run Webspace and mailboxes separately and I would like to understand, what cPanel can do as the Mailserver. Here is what we want:
1) All Mailboxes of the customers on one machine (We manage the DNS, too)
2) A very simple Customer"s-Interface, preferably customizable, to manage their Accounts
3) A Webmail-Interface for the customers, maybe RoundCube
4) Obviously ssl-Access to these Webinterfaces, even if the real webspace runs somewhere else. Somehow it needs to be able to request certs only for webmail.domain.xxx
5) Preferably dedicated WebMail-URLs: webmail.customer1.com, webmail.customer2.de, etc.
6) Encrypted E-Mailing, DKIM
7) Preferably dedicated Mail-URLs: mail.customer1.com, mail.customer2.de, etc. f"r IMAP and SMTP
8) Autoconfig for the client-mail-programs!

Olaf cPanel takes care of all that actually. You'll need to do some feature list editing for item 2, and I am not sure how many programs are are supported for 8, but cPanel's mail system is pretty robust. 0 -
Hello @OlafKapinski, You can technically use a full cPanel license on a server and create full cPanel accounts with the intention of only using the server's email capabilities. However, keep in mind there's no integration with the control panel you're using to host the domain's website and/or it's other services. Thus, your users would have to manage all aspects of their email accounts (e.g. email account creation, webmail) on the cPanel server that's setup for email hosting. Hello @Jean Boudreau, DKIM verifies the sender and the integrity of a message. In addition, it allows an email system to prove that spammers did not alter an incoming message while in transit. DKIM also verifies that the messages your server receives come from the specified domain. The individual emails are not encrypted on the server, if that's what you're interested in knowing. Email encryption is generally enabled on an email-user's workstation with the use of technologies such as S/MIME or PGP to sign, and encrypt, individual messages. This is not implemented directly in cPanel, as it involves the sender and receiver configuring these features in their specific email clients. Thanks for the update. I was looking at the "Encrypted E-Mailing". Too complicated for our customers (key sharing and which system accept encrypted email or not) 0
