[CPANEL-26599] cphulk is shown as down in initial install

In v78.0.20 version, it appears cphulkd down in service status in clean cpanel installation.
There is no error when cphulkd restarts.
[root@server ~]# /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/restartsrv_cphulkd
Waiting for "cphulkd" to restart gracefully ""waiting for "cphulkd" to initialize "finished.
Service Status
cphulkd (cPhulkd - processor - dormant mode - accepting connections) is running as root with PID 15917 (systemd+/proc check method).
Startup Log

Apr 04 14:05:04 server.damla.com systemd[1]: PID file /var/run/cphulkd_processor.pid not readable (yet?) after start.

cphulkd restarted successfully.-
Hi @vacancy Does it continue to happen? Is anything noted in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/cphulkd_errors.log? There may be a case associated with the behavior you're seeing: CPANEL-26599 - cphulk is shown as down in initial install because the db socket isn't created in dormant mode until there is a valid login This is currently being worked on and from what I'm reading in the case it shouldn't continue to cause a problem. Hy, Exacley same problem today after restart! what's happening? --- update: after 10 min. aprox-> recovered ? :confused: But for my /usr/local/cpanel/logs/cphulkd_errors.log last note before aprox 3 days.... 0 -

The problem continues on some servers. The cphulkd logs do not show any errors, but the service status screen shows cphulkd failed.0 -
I had this issue today on upgrading to v78.0.20. Logging out and then back in seems to have stopped the notifications. -Michael 0 -
For anyone still experiencing issues does the problem persist if you disable cphulk's dormant mode by going to WHM>>Server Configuration>>Tweak Settings -> Dormant services 0 -

I just tested, and yes, when I uncheck that cphulkd does not appear to go down with a reboot, although nscd still hangs apparently. That one comes back up on its own after ~5-6 minutes though. -Michael0 -
