MX record for gmail and webmail
I have a VPS and I created a new account and by default an MX record with the domain name was added to the MX records.
I have email accounts managed by google mail and others with webmail, and when I wanted to add Google MX records, it wouldn't accept them with the default one so I had to delete the default MX record, now when I delete it google email accounts receive emails and the webmail ones doesn't, and when I add it google email accounts doesn't.
So how can I solve this ?
Thank you

Your domain needs to point to either google or your server, it can't be both. You can't split where the mail delivery goes. 0 -

I setup split mail delivery in google admin dashboard but I get message not delivered, 550 please turn on SMTP authentication in your mail client.0 -
If google knows to send some emails to your server, you need to click on edit dns zone in cpanel and select the option for local mail server at the bottom. 0 -

Is the domain listed in /etc/localdomains or /etc/remotedomains on the server?0 -
I managed to solve the problem using the following steps: Setting the mail server to local Setting up dual delivery in Gmail. Setting up forwarders from webmail accounts to gmail test emails to make sure gmail accounts gets all the mail. Thank you everyone for your replies 0
