Old Password still works

Hello So, like the title says, i tried changing the password of one of my cpanel accounts through whm (i'm root), and while the new password works, i can still still login using the old one. I've tried the reset

  Hello @mmaciel, Does the password you are entering match either the server's root password, or the password configured for the reseller that owns the cPanel account? If so, this behavior is by-design and is configurable with the following option under the System tab in WHM >> Tweak Settings: Accounts that can access a cPanel user account: Here's the description of this option: This setting specifies who can access a user"s cPanel account. Account-Owner refers to the particular reseller that owns the user account. Note: Disabling root access here will also disable root"s access to the Branding Editor in WHM. Thank you.

  Hey @cPanelMichael, thanks for you answer. Yeah, now that you mention it, the whm root password and the old cpanel pass that i'm trying to change are both the same. So if i change the whm root password, that should solve my issue? Thanks again. Edit: well, that did it. Thank you @cPanelMichael
