Hi @vacancy Can you tell me about your configuration/setup and anything you've removed/added as far as default packages go?

Although some of my customers are active in mod_lsapi, they see these alerts and activate php-fpm because they think there is an error. When php-fpm is activated, mod_lsapi is disabled, php-fpm is running. I'm removing php-fpm packets because it's hard to keep track of this. When mod_lsapi is active, it is better not to have php-fpm alerts.

I agree! Would it be possible to answer the initial question? What OS? Any customizations? Which if any, php-fpm, fcgi, lsapi packages?

Centos 7.6- Cpanel 78.0.21 version. I am uninstalling ea4 php-fpm packages, I am installing ea4 mod_lsapi package. I'm activating all php versions from 5.4 to 7.3. Then I choose lsapi for all versions as handler.

Hi @vacancy That's what I needed. In this instance, we do have some internal items addressing this namely CPANEL-27067 to stop showing warning message for installation of PHP-FPM packages when PHP-FPM is off. These changes are slated for v82 of cPanel though and I will update this thread when they're added to a RELEASE version of cPanel. Thanks!

We will update this thread when 78.0.22 is released but in the meantime, this will be included in our changelogs and if you'd like to follow our changelogs you can do so here: 78 Change Log - Change Logs - cPanel Documentation

This feature is still not released. I can't see it in the 86 version either.

Hi @vacancy You're right, I should have updated sooner but it looks like I missed this one. This hasn't been released and it was set to be released in v80 of cPanel/WHM after it missed v78. But the case is still in monitored state. I'll touch base with the product owner on that team and see if I can find out anything about why it's stalled.

Hi @vacancy I discussed this with the PO for the team working on this and the delay was due to a few issues, including a team change and a change of direction for this interface. The PO for the team associated is making some changes and will update the case accordingly. I'll let you know when I have any further updates, including when this is expected/what the new direction is if applicable.
