Autodiscover and AutoConfig records for email
Hi,
I've hosted domains and their DNS at CloudFlare, is it a good idea to use autodiscover and autoconfig dns records so email clients can use them or this is not useful?
My current email clients are working well when configuring their incoming and outgoing servers, where it is not difficult to do that manually, but just in case these records are helpful I'll create them.
Thank you.

HI @m.eid It is definitely useful to use these, it cuts down on any configuration time when the client supports autoconfig/autodiscover. Our documentation on them may also be helpful for you: AutoConfig and Autodiscover - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation 0 -
You can create them manually but you'll need to add the host you want published by enabling: [QUOTE]Host to publish in the SRV records for Outlook autodiscover support
In tweak settings You'll also need to enable the setting:Thunderbird and Outlook autodiscover and autoconfig support (enables service subdomain and SRV record creation)
Or manually add the SRV records to all of your domains DNS zone files0 -

Thank you for your reply, is there any recommended subject to search about or such article that describe that in details ?0 -
What kind of details are you looking for exactly that isn't covered in the documentation? 0
