WHM Backup Config / Webdav SSL Issue

Hi has anyone successfully setup webdav ssl with a remote NAS that has webdav? I used to have it working with an older whm/cpanel version, but it seems that WHM is choking on the SSL certificate as it is self assigned. Is there a way to import the SSL cert so that the WHM interfaces see's it as trusted? The webdav works correctly through a browser. Thanks I should note the error is unknown error.

  I believe that it may be if you're trying to connect over SSL you need to have a valid signed certificate, what is it specifically that leads you to believe it's the certificate that's causing the issue?

  Well it turns out ConfigServer Security & Firewall was blocking my IP. I added my static ip to the whitelist. Thanks
