Disabling backup for a single site, or for a package?

Is it somehow possible to disable backup for a single site, or for a package? (note: using feature manager to disable backup instruments prevents just the instrument to be available to the user but, I guess, the backup is evenly done ... the goal is not to backup a very large site, which backup is yet done in a different way)

  As far as I'm aware you can disable backups for specific accounts by altering the values BACKUP and LEGACY_BACKUP to 0 in /var/cpanel/users/USERNAME. The only way I understand to disable backups for a specific account would be to create a script to hook-in to the create/modify account which would then modify the files manually based on package name.

  You can select or not, users for backup, in the Backup Configuration area in WebHost Manager. 58995
