Hello @PCZero, Hosting providers can disable the Imunify360 alert for their licensed servers from Manage2's CpanelInc/addon_securityadvisor Note that custom SecurityAdvisor forks are unsupported and fall outside our scope of support. Thank you.

Thank you Michael. I would HIGHLY suggest that the cPanel team look into making a change to this area. Informing cPanel users of an additional feature is all well and good but to continually spam us with an advertisement for any additional product is not very professional at all. There should be a some methodology for individual cPanel licensees to opt out of seeing these spam ads repeatedly. Perhaps a simple check box by any such ad with a "do not display again" option would do the trick. We should not have to reply on unsupported hacks or other parties (our server providers, etc) to disable the display of what amounts to spam.

I understand the process you described earlier I just think that the current situation where the only two options are either the provider totally disabling the notice or the end user having to see it every time Security Advisor is run is not a very good thing. It is desirable to be notified that there is a new option available, but to not give the end user the ability to acknowledge the notice and disable its continued presentation seems a bit limited. Neither of the current options allow that. It would seem to me that cPanel would want that to be the default set up actually and at the very least give end user the ability to turn off 'promotional banners' as you even call them. A repeated 'promotional banner' is by very definition spam and user should not have to request a mod to get rid of spam. I will do as you requested and enter the request. However I sincerely do not think it should require ANY additional demand or feedback to be acted upon. Thanks PS: it will take me until Monday to be able to sit down and draft the request (very busy schedule for the next 48 hours or so). Look for a follow up some time then.
