Custom Suspension Page Will Not Display
All accounts on the server are owned by root. Fresh suspensions are not showing
/var/cpanel/webtemplates/root/english/suspended.tmpl
That template was properly edited by Web Template Editor and it shows the correct html, but the default template still shows, even after unsuspending/resuspending accounts. What can I do?

It was a permissions issue. The tech changed it for me from 700 to 644 and it's fine now. I had not changed any file properties, so it seems logical that the file was created with the wrong permissions during installation. 0 -
Hello @Jason Overhulser, The /var/cpanel/webtemplates directory (and the files/directories beneath it) are not created as part of the cPanel & WHM installation process. Instead, the directories/files are initially created the first time a custom template is saved using WHM >> Web Template Editor. In testing, the following file and directories were created with the correct ownership and permission values (e.g. owned by root, directories set to 0711 permissions, files set to 0644 permissions) upon initially saving a custom Account Suspended template using WHM >> Web Template Editor: /var/cpanel/webtemplates/ /var/cpanel/webtemplates/root/ /var/cpanel/webtemplates/root/english /var/cpanel/webtemplates/root/english/suspended.tmpl Let me know if you encounter any issues with the permission/ownership values of these files and/or directories in the future. Thank you. 0 -
Thanks for that clarification. So when Web Template Editor first created that template file, the permissions were incorrect. That's curious. I will watch for that in the future. And thanks again for your collective help. 0
