Backup Generated and Saved to User Account?

Hello, In my cpanel account, automatic backups are getting created on daily basis and its getting placed under the home directory /home/username: (Backup file extension : .tar.gz) And each backup file has more than 14GB . But there are Cron jobs set for this backup also . Any idea how this backups are getting generated under /home/username . My Account is on shared server, I do not have root access .

  But there are No Cron jobs set for this backup also**** I contacted the Hosting support and they dont know how its getting generated at all

  cPanel's automated backup system takes full server backups but they'd be placed in the directory which your provider has assigned for this. There is no other automated backup feature within cPanel itself. Some 3rd party software like softaculous will take site backups automatically, my assumption here is there's some 3rd party software in use creating the backups.
