htaccess help - hide .html
Hi guys,
I plan to write htaccess code to hide the .html from page url but I found cPanel generated htaccess (# php -- BEGIN cPanel-generated handler, do not edit) on my public_html folder.
What should I do? can I just delete the file and added a new one for hiding the .html? please do help, I'm new with this and don't have any idea what is this generated htaccess doing there.

Don't delete it but you can put whatever you want in the file. I suggest putting your directives above the cpanel generated ones. 0 -
Thanks very much.. I will do that. have a nice day. 0 -
