Backups to AWS S3 not working after changing daily to weekly
I have just been looking through some backups for one of our server son AWS S3 and to my horror Ive found that the weekly backups have been failing for months and months.
We used to have all accounts backed up daily but found it unecessary so changed to weekly in mid January. I can see in the backups that as soon as it was changed to weekly the only file that is backed up is a file labeled '.master.meta'and nothing else.
All daily account and system backups up until the date we changed to weekly are there though.
Can anyone advise on this?
thanks

Apologies, I have just seen that there is a separate 'weekly' directory that is created where the backups have been saved  0 -
Actually I would like to re-open this thread now as I do have an issue. It seems these weekly backups have not been completing fully and I can see for many of my sites the mysql directory is empty so there are no backups at all of their databases. It looks like the public_html directories have backed up fine though. I have noticed in the past that when backing up weekly the server gets very bogged down due to the pigz proccesses and often will go down for a few minutes. Is there a way to stop this or maybe spread out the backups over a longer period of time to pigz doesnt consume so many resources? I have not seen anything that addresses this in cpanel backup options. 0 -
