Temporary URL with addon domain
Hello,
I had one domain at my hosting provider where I could access the WordPress logon at the temporary URL of , , but nothing works.
I've also modified the URL and home records in the options table in the phpMyAdmin database to match all three formats above. I've also tried editing the wp_config.php file by adding
define('WP_HOME','
Nothing has worked. Can you please tell me what I'm missing?
Thank you!

The best way to access a temporary url is by editing the hosts file on your local machine, to bypass the dns. 0 -
This would be a mod_userdir setting - if you don't have root access to the server I'd suggest you contact your provider to see if they'll exclude your account from mod_userdir protection information on mod_userdir can be found here: Apache mod_userdir Tweak - Version 82 Documentation - cPanel Documentation I will also second @nixuser's suggestion that the best way to view the site before its live is to modify your hosts file. 0
