Upgrading MySQL Concerns

Hi I am very new to cpanel and MySQL in general. Currently trying to upgrade MySQL version but it says that there will catastrophic data loss if i proceed. I'm wondering if i can create a new MySQLServer upgrade that to the latest version and then import the data from the old server?

  Hello @Shahzaib Khalid You should be able to do that, but I would suggest opening a ticket with us to determine if there is a better way. You can open a ticket using the link in my signature, once open please update here with the ticket ID so we can update this thread as well.

  How would i go about creating a new mysql server?
