PHP Caching after EasyApache to V4

Our server company updated the server yesterday from EasyApache V3 to V4, now we are not able to see any updates made to PHP files until we restart httpd. This seems to be only with PHP files, and has been tested by server company and ourselves. This a support reply "I can confirm that changes are not visible before restarting httpd. Now, I did test this from incognito as well and I got the same result which leads me to conclusion that web server is responsible for caching. I also created plain text file ztest and my tests didn't show any caching for that file. This suggests that caching occurring only for php files." We are running cpanel/whm
