Adding Google's DKIM to cPanel account?

    Hello @vexx, The DKIM records you configure on the cPanel & WHM server will not affect the live DKIM DNS records or the DKIM keys used if both email and DNS are hosted on a remote server for the domain. You'll want to ensure that Remote Mail Exchanger is selected for this domain in cPanel >> Email Routing. Thank you.

    Hey @cPanelMichael I've already configured to be the Remote Mail Exchanger. However, the DKIM is simply not sent in the mail headers. And also, the mail headers state that the mail was sent by "Received: from user by server.domain.com with local (Exim 4.92)" If I use any 3rd party email apps such as Outlook or Mailbird, the mails are sent just fine using the same SMTP and DKIM is sent.

    I resolved the issue, PHPMailer was poorly configured and was not verifying if it's smtp. It proper logs on the stmp now and send everything as expected. Thanks!

    Hello @vexx, I'm glad to see you were able to solve the issue. Thanks for sharing the outcome. Also, is there a particular configuration value for PHPMailer that others should look out for when facing the same issue?
