Migrating to new DC

Hi guys We want to transfer our full server backups done with hyperV and proxmox. We are seeing the process like this.

• Do a full backup of the whole VM and restore it on new server in new location.
• Then change server IP so all works.
• Run rsync on the /home folder between two servers.
• Use transfer tool to check for any new accounts that may have been created by resellers and transfer them across to new server.
• Run full mysqldump and restore on new server.
• Then sync DNS so all customers websites IPs change to new IP.

Is this correct or is there possibly something I am forgetting?

  looks fine I personally just Shut down MySQL temporarily to sync the database & use rsync its faster

  Everything is going well. Just for some reason Reseller accounts dont stay resellers. We have to click change package on WHMCS to reset them as resellers and give them privileges again. Other than that all is good.

  Hello @sahostking, To confirm, did you enable "Copy Reseller Privileges" in WHM >> Transfer Tool for each individual reseller account? Thank you.
