File doesn't exist ul_load_stats:7
I'm getting this email everyday.
/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
error: ul_load_stats:7 unknown option 'endscript' -- ignoring line
The problem I can't see that this directory exist on my server. "ul_load_stats"
At the following link is advice on what to do for this but again I don't find this folder anywhere.
my vps cron sending error message. | Web Hosting Talk
I'm using
- CENTOS 7.6 kvm [server]

I can't edit the post I assume because I'm a new member but I wanted to put this in instead /etc/redhat-release:CentOS Linux release 7.6.1810 (Core) /usr/local/cpanel/version:11.80.0.20 /var/cpanel/envtype:kvm CPANEL=release 0 -
The advice provided to you in that thread is accurate. Where did you check for the file? It looks like you need to modify /etc/logrotate.d/ul_load_stats - line 7 where the endscript line is and remove it. 0 -
It's not in there. I've looked around in what I think would be the obvious places. I just migrated from Bluehost and that server is still active for another 10 days. I shut it down, stupid question though is it possible that this is coming from my old server? I can find the file on the old server with "endscript" on line 7... But I can't find it anywhere on the new server I'm running now 0 -
I now see that the old server wasn't actually shutdown. I was able to ssh into it. I gave it the poweroff command and now it is shutdown. I checked while in there and yes the file is exactly where it should be on the old server. I also changed the email passwords so if it restarts it shouldn't be able to send them. So is it possible that these were coming from the old server? 0 -
It sounds entirely possible they were coming from the old server, you should be able to check the header information on the email to identify the IP address the notification originated from. 0 -
Yep it was the old server. I don't see a way to mark this as solved but it is. Thanks 0 -
Hi @Rudy Peckham I'm glad the mystery is solved! I'll mark this thread as solved for you and thanks for updating! 0
