The first issue here is a concern that you're running on cPanel v 11.56 which has been EOL for quite some time and is no longer supported. There have been a vast number of changes since that time. This is something that, if you don't have access to update you should discuss with your provider. As far as TXT records, I'm not sure I understand the issue, there should be no issue with adding additional TXT records in the cPanel UI - would it be possible for you to include a screenshot so I can better understand what's being added?

Thanks for responding Lauren, I'll be certain to raise the version with our provider...not this is a cPanel running under WHM (VPS) that we have control of too. With regards to the issue itself, here's a screenshot of what we're attempting to do. We have the SPF record + the Google Site Verification code (XXXX's used to obfuscate). 60031 When I then try and verify on Google Search Console (GWT) is says it doesn't recognise the TXT record with the correct code in it.

It looks like you're just adding data into the TXT data box, the SPF record and the google site verification should be separate TXT records. What's the interface you're using to add this?

I actually was able to find an image to create an 11.56 server so I can see the UI differences. Do you have add zone available in the simple or advanced zone editor? 60035

I do, but both TXT records need to have the same name. Or is there another method, I've seen other instances where you use the `@` to signify the root domain.

Hmm, just tried that, but that's a no.

You can have two TXT records with the same domain name in the "name" field. For example, I used a test domain and added some records in the advanced DNS zone editor within cPanel: 60059

Jesus H Christ, I feel like such an idiot. For some reason I thought I was seeing a validation error when attempting to add a second TXT record with the same 'Name'. No idea what I was looking at then. Anyway, have done it now and verification has been successful. Appreciate you going through it with me Lauren, apologies for the wasting of your time. Regards Brendan

Hello @cPanelLauren Microsoft is asking me to add a TXT record for domain verification. My question is : does it cause any problems or conflicts if i add the txt record with the same domain name (which is the master domain?). There is already the main txt record for the domain which has spf data in it. You can see at the attached images the proposed added record by MS, and the type of the already present txt record from inside the Zone editor :

You can have multiple TXT records like this, that's fine.
