cPHulk Brute Force Protection whitelist error
out of the blue I am getting the following error every time i try to make a change and the whitelist is blank where it has 6 IP address before?
API failure: Failed to open "/etc/ssh/sshd_config": (XID tn3stn) The system failed to lock the immutable (+i) file "/etc/ssh/sshd_config" (as EUID: 0, EGID: 0) because of the following error: Permission denied at /usr/local/cpanel/Whostmgr/Services/SSH/Config.pm line 406.
has anyone got any idea's? I enclose a screenshot of the error, I can ad ip and it accepts it, when i refresh screen it's gone again.

For this issue can you please open a ticket using the link in my signature? The file /etc/ssh/sshd_config should *not* be immutable. Once open please reply with the Ticket ID here so that we can update this thread with the resolution once the ticket is resolved. Thanks! 0 -
Ticket # 12927897. Both /etc/ssh/sshd_config and /root/.ssh/authorized_keys were set to immutable. Ticket has been escalated to senior level analysts for further review. 0 -
