How to avoid SSL certificate warnings when accessing cPanel?

How to host "hostname" on the same server? My server "hostname" is (server.domain.com) where my clients are points to my server using nameservers (ns1.server.domain.com & ns2.server.domain.com) Now I would like to host (server.domain.com) to the same server but unfortunately I can't do that. 60079

    There's already a virtualhost for the hostname of the server, and the document root assigned to this is /var/www/html.

    Okay, but how can I access the "hostname" cPanel? "hostname/cpanel" is working but can't login with the same root username & password as WHM

    In order to access the cpanel you need to add an account like a website account and then you can access cpanel as while adding a website account you get different username and password than you use to login to WHM. WHM and Cpanel are 2 different parts. WHM is for server administration and cpanel is for website administration. You can login to cpanel using root user name and its password.

    Hi, I think you didn't read my Thread carefully! Here is my question: How to host "hostname" on the same server?     Hello @ImperialTrader, The server's hostname is a label by which to identify your physical server. It's not intended or supported for use as a separate cPanel account or as an addon domain or alias to an existing cPanel account. It seems like you're looking to setup a custom "Default Website Page", or to setup a domain to resolve to the cPanel & WHM server before DNS propagation completes.     Hello @ImperialTrader, By default, a free cPanel-signed SSL certificate is automatically generated for your server's hostname as part of the nightly cPanel update. Keep in mind this certificate is only applicable to the services documented on the link below: Manage Service SSL Certificates - Version 82 Documentation - cPanel Documentation Thank you.

Keep in mind this certificate is only applicable to the services documented on the link below: without enabling the following option? Tweak Settings >> Security >> Require SSL for cPanel Services >> Off Because I need all my clients to be redirected to their domain when they access their cPanel and if they don't have SSL, I don't want them to see "X" cross off line on their (https)

    Yea I know its free for all my clients but I see it will expire after 3 months only! Or do you mean its gonna be renewed automatic after the 3 months?

    The certificates are replaced automatically every 3 months as long as the domain remains hosted on the cPanel & WHM server and continues to pass the domain validation process. Thank you.
