httpd SetEnv on cPanel 80
Hello
I see EasyApache directions on the forum for this, but not for cPanel 80 (which I'm on and doesn't appear to have the same options).
Is there a secure way for me to set environment variables on my website, such that Apache and PHP (not CLI) can reference them?
I'd prefer to set these in a way that is NOT on the webroot.
Thanks

Hi @garywong Do you mean something such as what's discussed in the thread here: If not can you clarify specifically what you're trying to do? 0 -
yes but my ISP (Zenutech) is not on EasyApache, and I'm not admin of the platform (I'm just a user). Thanks for responding so quickly though. 0 -
All cPanel servers use EasyApache though but you don't have access to manage it without access to WHM. The only other way that you'd be able to use SetEnv would be through an .htaccess file which would have to at least be in /home/$user if not the document root of the domain. 0
