Email -> Forwarders -> Trace Doesn't Work In 82.0.7?
I was working on an issue with an email forwarder, and noticed that if in a cPanel account I go Email -> Forwarders and click on the Trace link for a forwarder I am taken to a Track Delivery page, but there's no output other than "Go Back." There are no javascript errors on the page. Email Deliverability is valid for the domain. Email routing is set to "Auto" (local). I tried forwarders that forward to both local and 3rd party domains, and the results are the same; i.e., no output on the resulting page.
It's not a big deal because Email -> Track Delivery still works, so I can check a forwarder there. I'm just curious what happened to the "Trace" links.

Hello @linux4me2, Can you check if there's any output to /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log when you notice this behavior? Is the default Paper Lantern theme assigned to this account? Thank you. 0 -
Hi cPanelMichael, There is no output to /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log when I click the "Trace" link. The account is using the default Paper Lantern theme. 0 -

Thanks, I've confirmed it's open and under investigation. I'll update this thread with the outcome once the ticket is closed.0 -
This issue has been resolved: "The issue was that the "Email Delivery Route (deprecated)" feature was unchecked in the default feature list used by the Standard package associated with the "username" account. As a result, the forwarder-trace function displayed a blank page. To address this issue, [the cPanel employee] checked the box for the "Email Delivery Route (deprecated)" feature in the default feature list on the page at Home "Packages "Feature Manager "Edit Feature List in WHM. I then verified that tracing the forwarders now displays the image path." You can mark this one solved. Thanks! 0 -
