Convert from maildir to mdbox to reduce inode limit ?

Hi, I just want to know converting from maildir to mdbox will help me reduce the inode limit ?

  Yes it will, since you'll store multiple emails in a single file. However, be aware that if you have directories with non-ascii names, then you might want to back up all your emails, since using the conversion tool can result in loss of these directories.
