To clarify, are you attempting to install an SSL certificate on the hostname for a domain which is not the hostname?

May I ask why you want to use Let's Encrypt? We provide by default a free 1 year SSL for the hostname through Sectigo. Also, I believe that tutorial is invalid, while the first steps do indeed work for site SSL certificates they (as far as I know) do not apply to the hostname SSL. It also assumes you already have an SSL for the hostname issued by Let's Encrypt.

    1. The process to install the SSL runs automatically, if the hostname resolves properly you shouldn't actually need to do anything. 2. You can potentially get information on why the hostname may be failing the check by running /usr/local/cpanel/bin/checkallsslcerts --verbose --allow-retry
