Email alias not able to send or receive
Hi Everyone,
Recently I have been having issues with Global Email Filters which I have been using for over a decade now with no issues to redirect cpanel email accounts to a gmail account and then have gmail use that cpanel email account to send mail as.
I always use the following filter for each email account created within cpanel;
Then within Gmail settings I go to settings > accounts and import > send mail as: > add another email address and add name@example.com to send mail as: and set as the default reply email address fpr that gmail account. I also add google to the existing spf record inside of cpanel's zone editor as a +include
Lately I have been finding that some of the new email accounts I have tried setting up this way are not sending or receiving emails. This is happening with more than one webhosting company as well which leads me to beleive that this must be a new cpanel bug.
any header > contains > name@example.com > redirect to email > name@gmail.comThen within Gmail settings I go to settings > accounts and import > send mail as: > add another email address and add name@example.com to send mail as: and set as the default reply email address fpr that gmail account. I also add google to the existing spf record inside of cpanel's zone editor as a +include
v=spf1 +include:spf.example.com +include:_spf.google.com ~allLately I have been finding that some of the new email accounts I have tried setting up this way are not sending or receiving emails. This is happening with more than one webhosting company as well which leads me to beleive that this must be a new cpanel bug.
