Number of sent mail

Good day Everybody hope we are all going good. Please I am looking for a command I can use to get the number of sent mail from my server shell. Possible over the period of a day. Thanks.

  Hello @ebuka You could get a tally of the number of emails sent from the server using eximstats but it would be the total gathered from the log file you're looking at. For example: eximstats /var/log/exim_mainlog
  eximstats will also give you the number of deliveries per hour as well as the number of messages received per hour

  Thanks for reaching our Sir, I appreciate. I executed "eximstats /var/log/exim_mainlog" but the out-put was a list of log email logs. Please can I get the command that will give me an output like: "Sent mail 1300" I also ran "eximstats" but no output was displayed and also their was no manual entry for eximstats Sorry I am asking too much. Thanks.
